Privacy Policy

Apex ("we", "us") is operated by Apex Studios. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest: we do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect

Account data. When you create an account we store your email address and an encrypted credential (or an identifier from Google/Apple if you use social sign-in), handled by our authentication provider.

Training data. If you use the app, we store the information you provide to build your plan (experience level, race date, current 5 km time, sessions you log) so the plan can adapt to you.

Product analytics. On this website we use privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog) to understand which pages are useful. This only runs after you opt in via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To provide and improve Apex: to authenticate you, generate and adapt your training plan, provide support, and understand aggregate product usage. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Legal basis & retention

We process account and training data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), and analytics on the basis of your consent. We keep your data for as long as your account is active; you can delete your account at any time, after which we remove your personal data except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service — hosting and database (Cloudflare), authentication, payment (Apple/Google/Stripe for subscriptions), and analytics (PostHog). Each processes data on our behalf under contract.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw analytics consent at any time. To exercise any right, email hello@apexhybrid.app.

International & children

Data may be processed outside your country by the processors above under appropriate safeguards. Apex is not directed at children under 16.
